Down Posted on 12/01/2025 By plottips Nintendo announced on November 27 that an equity transfer agreement had been signed with Bandai Namco Studios, a Singapore-based development subsidiary, Bandai Namco Studios Singapore, to strengthen Nintendo ‘ s global development system. Following the completion of the acquisition, the Singapore studio at the Mandea South Dream Palace will become a fully-funded subsidiary of Nintendo Studios Singapore Pte. Ltd., and will continue its established development operations. According to the official Nintendo statement, BNSS was established on 1 March 2013 as one of the overseas development sites of the Mandea Namong Palace Group, which specializes in the production of fine arts materials in games and works with Nintendo for many years in the past in the development of various parts of the Nintendo works, including the concept of Sprazon 3, role modelling, landscape modelling and animation. Nintendo says that the experience of cooperation has made BNSS an important partner in the development of energy for the group and has decided to formally include it under the Nintendo flag, which will receive 80 per cent of the shares of the rest of the shares in the future. The capital of BNSS was 1 million Singapore dollars (approximately $770,000) in November 2025, and Nintendo was scheduled to acquire 80 per cent of the BNSS shares on 1 April 2026 and to acquire the remaining shares once the subsidiary had stabilized. Nintendo also stressed that the takeover had a minor impact on the current financial statements and that the company would continue to build more work that would surprise and entertain players through a globalized layout and enhanced development energy.
